The following average metals content (mg/kg dry weight) in mushrooms (Agaricus campestris, occasionally Agaricus augustus), was found: Mg- 1800(690-4300); Ca-240(21 - 620); Na - 360 (30 -1800); K - 45000 (21000 - 280000); Mn - 30 (7.2 -130); Cu 120 (23 - 240); Fe - 260 (51 - 1000); Zn -210 (71 - 670); Pb -4.2 (0.25 - 29); Cd - 19 (0,20 - 75); Ag - 38 (1.7 - 150). Statistically significant positive correlation for the pair Cu-Cd in mushrooms deriving from three different locations, and for the pairs: Cu-Zn, Mn-Fe, K-Cd, and Na-Pb in specimens deriving from two different locations, was observed.
