The elements and actions connected with sales stimulation, also known as promotion, are integral part of marketing. The aim of promotion is to strengthen the impact of marketing mix elements on sales, not replace it. Depending on how good we are in creating efficient promotion blend, sales results are better or worse. Marketing activity of spirits producers in Poland is very limited due to strict law regulations in the field of advertising, most crucial promotion instrument. It should be noted that those regulations are far less firm with respect to other alcoholic beverages producers i.e. beer and wine.
