W pracy przeprowadzono analizę kinematyczną (met. macierzowa) i dynamiczną (met. równań Lagrange'a II rodzaju) łańcucha kinematycznego z pięcioma parami obrotowymi na przykładzie ładowacza Troll-350. Rozwiązano zadania proste i odwrotne kinematyki i dynamiki. Drogą symulacji komputerowej, określono funkcyjne przebiegi kinematycznych i dynamicznych parametrów ruchu.
Rape seed damage occurring in the course of harvest and the post-harvest processing have a negative effect on the quality and quantity of oil the seeds contain. The study presented here was aimed at examining the typical process of purchasing and processing of rape seed in fat industry plants, in the aspect of the occurrence of mechanical damage to the seeds. Special attention was paid to the condition of rape seed immediately after combine harvesting; next, the successive stages of technological processing of the seed were examined, observing the operation parameters of the particular machinery and equipment in order to identify those operations which caused deterioration in the quality of the material (seeds). Seed samples were taken successively from the following: the hopper, prior to cleaning, after cleaning, prior to drying, after drying, from dry rape silo. The total level of damage increased through the processing until the drying operation, following which the proportion of damaged seeds slightly decreased. The content of unusable contaminants had a tendency to decrease in the successive operations, though the actual values still exceeded levels permitted by standards.

Laboratory studies on rape seeds, conducted at the Institute of Agrophysics, PAS, were aimed at the determination of their strength properties in the aspect of the susceptibility of the seeds to damage. Limit values were determined for loads causing the disruption of the seed cover, with relation to varietal features, agrotechnical measures applied (crop spraying, time of harvest - plant ripeness, sowing density), temperature, and seed moisture content. The value of force causing seed cover cracking, the corresponding strain, or the value of energy and the apparent modulus of elasticity clearly defined the resistance of individual seeds under loading. The mechanical parameters studied were differentiated for particular plant varieties, however, differences in particular years of the study were statistically insignificant, while the differences between successive years of the study but for the same variety were significant. Generally it was observed that seeds of all the varieties in 1993 were more resistant to external loads. No statistically significant changes were observed in seed strength with relation to plant ripeness (time of harvest). Assessing the effect of chemical preparations used for rape spraying, no statistically significant effect on the strength parameters under study was noted for any of the preparations with relation to the control. Experiments concerned with the effect of sowing density on the strength properties of rape seeds did not show any significant differences of the particular parameters with relation to four sowing densities (50, 35, 20 and 10 plants/m²). The strongest differentiation of the properties under study was noted in the case of seeds with increased moisture content. An increase in the seed moisture content was accompanied by a distinct decrease in the values of force, strain, energy, and modulus of elasticity, the greatest decrease in the values of the parameters being observed for moisture content between 11 and 17 %. Also, a significant effect of seed temperature on the strength parameters under study was observed. With increasing temperature, the values of all the parameters decreased. The effect of seed temperature was stronger for diy seeds and decreased with increasing seed moisture content.
Studies on the qualitative features of rape in the aspect of purchasing and post-harvest processing of seeds prior to production have been conducted at the Institute of Agrophysics for many years. The objective of the studies was to get to know the process of purchasing and post-harvest processing of seeds in order to determine the causes and the extent of qualitative losses (mechanical damage) of the seeds. It was established that the principal cause of the occurrence of mechanical damage is combine harvesting. In the course of operations taking place after the harvest, the number of damaged seeds increased gradually. However, in particular years, depending on the purchasing point or centre, the ratio of damage caused during the harvest to the damage caused during the post-harvest operations varied, which was related to the various equipment installed at the particular purchasing points. Comparing the particular organizations purchasing rape seed, the highest level of seed damage was noted at sugar factories. There was not much variation in the level of seed damage at the other rape seed purchasing points. The high level of rape seed damage at sugar factories was caused by pneumatic transport of seeds after drying. Weather conditions during harvest also had a significant effect on the qualitative features of rape seed, and the level of seed damage varied in particular years of the study.
W pracy przeprowadzono analizę metod teksturowania powierzchni płytek krzemowych stosowanych w ogniwach fotowoltaicznych. Omówiono metody trawienia płytek krzemu monokrystalicznego w roztworach alkaicznych, metody trawienia krzemu polikrystalicznego w środowisku kwasowym, obróbkę laserową i obróbki mieszane wykorzystujące laser i trawienie chemiczne. Na podstawie opublikowanych wyników badań absorpcji promieniowania świetlnego oceniono poszczególne technologie pod kątem ich praktycznej przydatności do budowy wysokosprawnych paneli słonecznych.

Five winter wheat: Alcedo, Beta, Grana, Liwilla and Salwa in four levels of moisture: 5, 9, 16 and 21 % were examined. Grains came from 1984, 1985 and 1986. Static compression test of a single grain was performed between two parallel plates. Maxial compression force and deformation corresponded to it as well as force and deformation within limits of elasticity were read from the curves in force - deformation coordinate system. Point where curve bent was regard as a limit of elasticity (first failure). Alcedo was the most resistible, while Salwa was the weakest variety. Grains came from 1984 were the strongest and from 1985 were the weakest. Moisture content was the most substantial factor to the strength of wheat grains. With the increase of moisture content maxial compression force decreased, while corresponded deformation increased.
