The garden treatment plant is a type of hydrobotanic (vegetative, root) plant with horizontal sewage flow. In traditional vegetative sewage treatment plants only one species is used, while a special species composition suitable for sewage quality, local climatic conditions and user's preferences are employed in garden treatment sewage treatment plants. It is estimated that plants are responsible for 10% of pollutant removal, while the remaining amount is eliminated by huge numbers of various microorganisms. The are microorganisms which treat sewage and remove contaminants. The article deals with operations of such plants, their applications and specific locations.
