Excessive exposition on fluoride may case fluorosis and other disease. An assessment of daily fluoride intake from nutritional sources may be important for disease prevention. The aim of this study was to assess daily fluoride intake from selected nutritional sources in Polish population. The mean consumption of fish and fish products, tea and mineral spring waters based on household budget surveys in 1999-2003 years were calculated. Fluoride concentration in food products were taken from reference data. We find that tea, canned fish and high-mineral spring waters are important nutritional sources of fluoride. We concluded that in Polish population mean daily fluoride intake from food may be above adequate intake.
