Stress concentration around a circular opening in a wooden plate subjected to twisting moments. The analytical solution of bending and twisting moment and of the stress concentration factors around the circular opening boundary in wooden plate modelled as orthotropic linear elastic material is presented here. The orthotropic plate with the circular opening is subjected to loading by twisting moment in all sides. The aim is to know the influence of the circular hole on concentration of stresses. Realised computations of the normal and shear moment and also of the stresses on the opening boundary are based on the linear theory of elasticity of anisotropic bodies with using of a complex variable method.
