In his article, the author focuses on discussion of the actions carried out by domestic firms in the sector for TFL services, aimed at an increase of their competitiveness. Therefore, there are discussed the ways of raising quality of services those firms have in their offer. The author emphasises the need for search by domestic small and medium companies from the TFL service sector for their place in market niches. He also pays attention to the need to convert some large logistic enterprises into operators providing a complex offer of services and to undertake activities in the B2B e-commerce.
