The mixture containing 48% propachlor and 12% trifluralin was chosen on basis of the studies reported. Herbicidal formulation Propalin 60 WP was elaborated. The herbicide is characterized by broad spectrum of activity and low cost of treatment and is recommended to control burdensome weed species in rape.
Field studies were conducted in 2007–2009 at the Research Field Experimental Station of Institute of Plant Protection at Winna Góra. The aim of the studies was to determine the efficacy of herbicides trifluralin and clomazone applied with adjuvants Lenmix 800 EC and Atpolan 80 EC for weed control in winter oilseed rape. Adjuvant Lenmix 800 EC used with trifluralin increased weed control. On the other hand clomazone used with adjuvant Atpolan 80 EC also increased weed control. This was particularly evident on middle resistant weed species. The level of yield of winter oilseed rape was higher in the object were weed control was better.
