Agricultural land market in Hungary is in process of development, the prices of land is times lower compared to land prices in old member states of the EU. Because of their lower income Hungarian nationals do not have substantial possibilities to acquire ownership over land like nationals of the old member states of the EU. In order to preserve the agricultural sector from shocks that might arise from the differences in land prices and income with the rest of EU, Hungary as the others Central and Eastern European new member states countries (the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia) during the accession negotiations in 2003 was granted the possibility to maintain existing national provisions restricting the acquisition of agricultural land or forests. Based on the data provided by the Hungarian Farm Accountancy Data Network and by the Hungarian Central Statistic Office the authors examined the specific impacts of factors influencing on arable land prices.

A maximum capacity of the host to parasites is very diverse so intensive infections (hiperinfections) are noticed repeatedly. The reasons for their occurrence can be divided based on the factors related to the biology and ecology of hosts: age, body size, food habits, anatomical and behavioral factors, monoxenous life cycle of parasites, environmental changes, contamination of the environment by the dispersion forms of parasites and new parasite-host relationships.

Influence of cow temperament and milking speed on herd life, lifetime milk yield and reasons of cow culling.Importance of functional traits, longevity or reproduction traits increases continuously in present dairy cattle breeding. Effects of milking speed and cow temperament on herd life, lifetime milk yield and reasons of culling were estimated. The highest lifetime yield (p<0.01) of milk, fat and protein as well as life span and herd life had calm animals or slow milking cows. However, cows with normal temperament or fast milking had the highest (p<0.01) yield of milk fat and protein per one day of utilization. The main reason of culling were fertility and reproductive disorders (on average 41.2%), but 15.3% cows were culled because of udder diseases. Results suggest highly significant (p<0.01) influence of temperament and milking speed on life span, herd life, lifetime milk yield. Functional traits, longevity or fertility should be parts of breeding programs to balance dairy cattle selection and compensate negative influence of selection only towards milk yield that took place in the past.

The water intake situated at Rybacka Street in Wolin was established in the beginning of the 20th century. It is situated in the close vicinity of the existing apartment and business buildings and the water and sewage systems as well. On the fenced parcel ca 50x80 m besides the objects of: – building of the water-supply station, – warehouse – workshop building with sanitary facilities, – household building, – building of the current generating plant, are situated the deep-water wells No. 6 and No. 9 now in the operational use. The other deep-water wells being now in the operational use are the well No. 10 situated at Rybacka Street in the distance ~ 90 m from the intake parcel border as well as the well No. 5 situated in the distance ~ 220 m from the parcel border.
