345 species of Tachinidae (76% of those known from Poland), were recorded from the Świętokrzyski Region. Most of them are widely distributed parasitoids of lepidopterans, hymeno- pterans, beetles and bugs. 32 of the species in this group are new to the region studied and Unnaemyia lithosiophaga. Chrysocosmius auratus, Siphona rossica, Oswaldta eggeri Paratryphera barbatula, Carcelina stackelbergi. Platymyia anlennala, Myxexoristops abietis, Allophorocera pachy- styla, Zewaa subapennina, Eriolhiix micmnyx and Ramonda delfinensis are new to the fauna of Poland. The Tachinid fauna of the Świętokrzyski Region was compared to that of other regions in Poland. An analysis of the species composition and dominance structure was carried out in selected habitats in the Pieniny Mts., the Świętokrzyski Region and the Mazovian Lowland.

The paper presents the new Polish records of two rare species connected with psammophilous grasslands: Besseria dimidiata (ZETTERSTEDT, 1844) and its host Menaccarus arenicola (SCHOLTZ, 1864) (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae). It is the northernmost locality of B. dimidiata in Europe.

The paper presents first record of the Cleonice nitidiusculata R.-D. (Diptera: Tachinidae) from Poland. One male and three females of the species were collected in 50-years old pine stand near Ostrów Mazowicka [UTM ED55], Author published polish translation of Ziegler's key to the identification of Cleonice R.-D. genus from Palaearctic. Information about available keys in European languages, which can be used to identification of the group, were given.

110 species of the family Tachinidae were found in the Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park. It is 23.4% of their number recorded from Poland. Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park is a third or fourth lowland locality of Phorinia aurifrons R.-D., Erythrocera nigripes R.-D., Athrycia impressa WULP., Hemyda obscuripennis MEIG. in Poland.
