Transport belongs to those fields of activities that condition, to a high degree, socio-economic development. The most rapidly developing branch thereof is the air transport, particularly passenger one. The future of the passenger air transport on interregional routes, above 250 km, is related to new solutions — replacement of the individual automotive transport with the transport effected by small planes. In their article, the authors present the results of empirical survey concerning perception of the value of travelling time and definition of the determinants differentiating making, in the future, decisions on private travel with small planes.
