The content of dry matter in carpophores of Agaricus bisporus was studied. Eight single-spore cultures obtained from Amycel Alpha strain and eight single-spore cultures obtained from Amycel 2600 strain were used in the experiment. The original strains were used as control. The content of dry matter in carpophores of Agaricus single-spore cultures was differentiated. Carpophores of two single-spore cultures originated from Amycel Alpha strain were characterized by lower dry matter content than the original strain. Three single-spore cultures originated from Amycel 2600 strain showed lower dry matter content than the original strain while one single-spore culture was characterized by the higher content of dry matter.
