The royal palace and gardens in Lobzowo (nowadays a borough of Krakow) is the oldest known royal summer residence in Poland. Dating back to King Kasimir the Great, the splendorous palace fell into disrepair during the time of partitions. The gardens’ layout can still be traced on the urban map of Kraków. The author talks about the history of the gardens and the possibility of bringing it back to life.
