The study concerned Lachnidae was carried out in three pine forest areas in Poland: Bory Tucholskie, Puszcza Biala and Puszcza Białowieska. The research material had been collected with Moericke's yellow bowls since 1986 to 1987. Of the 10 Lachnidae species feeding on pine that have been identified in Poland so far, 7 were also noted in this study: Eulachnus agilis, Schizolachnus pineti, Cinara pinea, C.pilosa, C.pini, C.pinlhabitans and C.nuda. The community structure was similar in each forest area. The species most abundant were: E.agilis and S.pineti. The highest abundance of the aphid communities was obtained for Bory Tucholskie.
