The serious disruption to the global balance caused by humans in this century has no precedent in the more distant past when we were part of the woodland ecosystem. It is a result of the rapid technological development and industrialisation. The industrial revolution accelerated forest destruction, particularly through air pollution, soil contamination (acid rain) and disruption to the circulation of water and minerals. The deteriorating condition of the forests can be minimised through proper management. However, the preventive and recovery measures are difficult and complex and take many years to implement. This paper describes forest protection methods.
Ogólnoświatowe trendy ograniczania środków chemicznych w uprawach roślin powodują wzrost zainteresowania produkcją roślin i nasion metodami proekologicznymi.
