Four carrot varieties, Perfekcja, Dolanka, Flacoro and Nantes, were analysed for Vitamin C, Vitamin E, total carotenoids, α-carotene, ß-carotene, total sugars, reducing sugars, chlorogenic acid and total phenolacids content. Of the investigated varieties, Perfekcja contained the largest amounts of phenolacids, total carotenoids, α-carotene, ß-carotene and Vitamin E. Dolanka showed the highest content of chlorogenic acids. All of the varieties displayed an exceptionally low Vitamin C content Perfekcja and Nantes were found to contain the highest quantity of total sugars and reducing sugars, respectively Dry solids content ranged between 9.49 and 11.56%.
