The article presents the situation in respective segments of the horticultural market (i.e. crops, fruit and vegetable preserves, import and export of horticultural products and their consumption) in the season 2018/19, in comparison with previous one. Record crops in 2018 result in boost export and consumption, as well as growth of total fruit preserves, which current high level hasn't been recorded until now. Drop in vegetable crops trigger a fall in consumption and export, and at the same time their import spike. The production of vegetable preserves will decrease proportionally to the fall in the crops.
