The paper presents the evaluation of the use and energetic efficiency of the Claas COMMANDOR 228 CS combine harvester during the harvest of corn for grain. The obtained results were referred to the requirements of the Farm Machinery System and compared with the results of the investigations of adapted Bizon combine harvesters and of the special harvester ABM-480. The investigations proved high quality of the harvester performance and its almost 3 times as high effectiveness when compared to the adapted Bizon combine harvesters.
