In this paper, the influence of surface load of heating plates and degree of fineness of champignon fruits (Agaricus bisporus L) on the energy consumption in the freeze drying process was studied. The experimental researches were carried out for five material load levels of heating plates (6, 8, 10, 12, 14 kgm-2) and at the constant temperature (323K) and pressure of heating plates (63 Pa), after preliminary freezing of raw material to 248K. When the heating load was low (form 6 to 8 kgm-2), the degree of fineness of raw material had no influence on the specific energy requirements needed to heat of plates and to dry the raw material. However, the increase of heating load from 10 to 14 kgm-2 resulted in the increase of specific energy inputs with the increasing degrees of fineness.
The aim of the present work was to determine nutrients and energy utilization of four hulless oat varieties, namely Paul (PA), Gehl “VAO-02” (GV), AC-Gwen (AC) and Lee Williams (LW) in growing pigs. The crude protein, lysine, crude fat and neutral detergent fibre contents (g kg-1 DM) ranged from 153 for LW to 184 for PA, 7.08 for LW to 7.94 for PA, 53.8 for LW to 72.1 for GV and 77.3 for PA to 120 for LW, respectively. Apparent ileal lysine digestibility differed (P<0.05) among the varieties and ranged from 60.0% for LW to 78.9% for AC. The DE and ME contents (MJ kg-1) also differed (P<0.05) among the varieties and ranged from 16.66 for LW to 17.92 for PA and 16.65 for LW to 17.90 for PA, respectively. Ileal amino acids digestibility and energy contents revealed variability among the varieties studied.
Subject and purpose of work: The aim of the work is the analysis of possibilities of using different renewable energy sources (RES) in tourism facilities and the effects caused by such installations. Materials and methods: Empirical material is formed by tourist objects of different scale of service provision in which RES have functioned for several years and the users are able to assess the advantages and disadvantages of the applied solutions. Results: It was noted that depending on the type and location of an object and the demand for energy one may select such a source and method of conversion into usable energy which to the greatest degree fulfils these needs. Solar energy deserves special attention as the greatest potential occurs during the period of increased tourist traffic. Furthermore, solar energy may be processed into heat and electric energy including island systems. Conclusions: RES installations concern energy for tourist objects which has economic and environmental impact and furthermore they constitute tourist attraction. For objects located far from electricity grid they may constitute the basic source of energy.
Проводились исследования на 96 откормочных свиньях (хрячках и свинках) крупной белой польской породы с начальным весом около 30кг, разделенных на 6 групп. Животных кормили полнорационными кормосмесями. Содержание переваримого общего белка в рационах для свиней групп I, II и III отвечало рекомендуемому нормами, а групп IV, V и VI было сниженным на 25%. Энергетическое качество кормосмесей для свиней групп I и IV отвечало нормам, групп II и V было ниже а групп III и VI было на 20% выше в сравнении с нормой. Снижение содержания белка или повышение энергетического качества кормов приводили к снижению мясистости туши. По мере повышения концентрации энергии в рационах повышалось содержание жира в мышце корейки, в мышцах окорока и в почени. Уровень общего переваримого белка в корму не оказывал существенного влияния на состав этих тканей.
