The main purpose of the changes of agricultural advisory system initiated in 1990 was to collectivize the system and to adapt it to agricultural needs in the conditions of complex market economy principles, being actually introduced. At present, after 6 years of the system functioning, it may be said that although the system is not fully efficient, it was favourably judged by agricultural circles - a broadening group of advisory service clients is the obvious proof. Contemporary agricultural advisory system knows well the needs of the environment it is cooperating with. It took up the problems of multifunctional development of rural areas, started creating various forms of obtaining alternative sources of income, country people enterprise development as well as education and promotion of country circles leaders. Advisory system will realize hopes of all its clients, especially when it starts more efficient cooperation with scientific circles which are responsible for preparing the apprenticeship solutions, and with educational environment which works, among other things, on improvement of educational methods efficiency. As for the efficiency of the system it is of importance to legally order the organizations and subjects working for the benefit of advisory service, and to define principles of cooperation between advisory system education and science, as well as clients of agricultural advisors and between advisors themselves.
