UV radiation accelerate the deltamethrin decomposition more in acetone solution then in the IPO-8831 formulation. The break-down rate increases with the dilution. It was found that acetone stimulates deltamethrin photodecomsition, whereas the ingrediens of IPO-8831 formulation have a protective effect.
Effect of 0.14 μm/dm3 water concentrations of deltametrin on nine biochemical parameters of the blood serum of carp was studied. The experiment was conducted under laboratory conditions in aquaria in spring and in fall. The exposure times were 24 and 48 hours. In both experimental seasons the deltametrin solution caused fluctuations in the levels of: glucose, Cl-, Na+, K+ ions, total calcium, creatinine, urea nitrogen, and cholesterol. It did not affect the content of crude protein.
The influence of IPO-8831 insecticide on the respiration of soil microflora was estimated by determination of respiration modification indexes. Side effects of some of the formulation's components were high (phosalone, xylene), whereas the other ingredients (methoxychlor, deltamethrin, BHT) had only limited influence on the microorganisms population. A possible synergetic influence of the formulations components on the soil microflora respiration was also found.
