The purpose of the article was the analysis of the level and the structure of the fruits and fruits' preserves consumption, depending on socioeconomic and demographic conditions in polish households. The source of the information was the basis of individual data of researches of households budgets GUS. It was demonstrated, as a result of the analysis that in the households with better financial situation it was consumed bigger quantity of fruits and fruits' preserves. This was seen especially in case of expensive fruits (citrus, dehydrated fruits). The bigger consumption of fruits and fruits' preserves was seen among people who had high level of the education, among the elderly people and among families without children. The season had also influence on the consumption of fruits.
