The aim of the study was to compare the results of the determination of the basic parameters of beer, particullary alcohol and extract content using Alex 500 apparatus, with the results of the determination of the above parameters by distillation method and using the Alcolyzer Plus Beer apparatus. The material for the study was 40 samples of the finished beer with the alcohol content between below 0,5 and 10% by volume. It was found, that the results obtained by the Alex 500 analyzer has good accuracy and convergence of the obtained results to the reference method (distillation).
