This study presents information on a new to Poland synanthropic species - Aronia ×prunifolia (purple chokeberry).Purple chokeberry is cultivated worldwide as a fruit and decorative plant. In various regions of the world the process of its naturalisation outside the places of cultivation has been observed. In Europe, it is visible, among others, in Holland and Germany. In Poland, the first case was recorded in the "Bagna" bog complex near Chlebowo (Wielkopolska region). In this study, the distribution of Aronia ×prunifolia in Poland has been presented (square ATPOL BC67, BC68) as well as its spread and conditions of occurrence.

The paper provides data on a new antropophyte species - Typha laxmannii Lepech. which spreads throughout Poland as a hemiagriophyte. Its present distribution in Poland is given on a cartogramme map in a 10×10 km square grid and its geographic element, population numbers and notes on habitats are provided. An identification key to 5 species of the Typha genus, two native, one new which is the topic of this paper, and two which can be expected to be discovered in Poland.

Valleys of large rivers, like Bystrzyca which is one of the largest Odra river tributaries, are prone to invasions of alien plant species. The Bystrzyca river valley in Krasków-Jarnołtów section is a part of a protected landscape area but it is relatively modified by human activity. Reinforcement of the river bed may have caused the appearance of invasive species, while the process of their penetration to protected areas is a serious threat to natural plant cover. The article contains basic data concerning synanthropisation and distribution of five invasive species (Impatiens parviflora, Reynoutria japonica, Reynoutria sachalinensis, Solidago canadensis, Solidago gigantea) found within the investigated area.
