The papers provides information about the third locality of Utecha lugens (Germ.) in Poland. This rare, European species was found in the xerothermic, antropogenic ecosystems of the city of Częstochowa. The key to the identification of Ulopidae occuring in Poland and distributional map of U. lugens are also given.

The various synonyms of Utecha trivia (Germar, 1821) are discussed including the synonymy of Ulopa grisea Walker, 1851 syn. nov. A redescription of the female of Utecha trivia (Germar, 1821) is given based on historical and modern specimens.

A description of Pyrenaeibufonaria gen. nov. with the type species Neobufonaria louisaraphaeli della Giustina and Blasco-Zumeta from the Pyrenees is given. Its taxonomic position, morphological characters and affinities with the genus Neobufonaria Koçak, known from the mountains of Central Asia, is discussed.
