Adicella melanella est une espèce ibérique décrite à l'origine dans le genre Erotèsis Mc Lachlan. Botosaneanu (1975: 276) a signalé cette espèce du Maroc, en se basant sur l'étude préliminaire d'un échantillon réalisé au nordouest de ce pays par le Dr. A. Riedel. Botosaneanu (1982: 180-181, figs. 45-52) étudie les types de cette espéce, en provenance du Portugal, établit son appartenance au genre Adicella Mc Lachlan, et aboutit à la conclusion que les exemplaires marocains appartiennent à une espèce distincte, apparentee a melanella. L'étude plus poussée de l'eehantillon marocain permet de considérer qu'il s'agit en réalité d'une sous-espèce (race géographique) de melanella, bien caractérisée par de nombreuses particularités dans les deux sexes.

Leptocerus interruptus was treated as probably extinct in the last edition of the Red List of threatened Animals in Poland (SZCZĘSNY 2002). It is not confirmed by data from literature. Some new data about L. interruptus and a suggestion of a new category of the threat (CR or EN) are presented in this work.
