The species of the genus Neurigonella from Nepal are reviewed. The following 2 species are described as new to science: Neurigonella nepalensis sp. nov., N. nigra sp. nov. A key to the species of the genus from Nepal is given.
A new genus, Neomedetera, from China is erected and type species Neomedetera membranacea sp. nov. is described. The new genus has reduced 8th sternum and basoventral foramen as its unusual characters. A key to separate the Palaearctic and Oriental genera of Medeterinae is presented.

The genus Nepalomyia Hollis, 1964 is reported from Taiwan for the first time. The following 3 species are described as new to science: Nepalomyia taiwanensis, N. siveci, and N. horvati. A key is given to separate the species.
