The paper presents key information on the location and agricultural characteristics of Beskid Wyspowy Mountains, divided into four altitude zones: below 500 m, 500-700 m, 700-1,000 m, and over 1,000 m above. Land use in these zones is described, with special focus on farmland, as well as slope inclination in five ranges: 0º-6º, 6º-11º, 11º-20º, and over 20º. Yields of principal crops cultivated in the area are also quoted, and fanning problems discussed, particularly those associated with high altitudes and steep grades of farmland.
