This study attempts to analyze how precipitation and vegetation affect water yield in Haihe watershed. Based on the annual runoff and meteorological data, the water balance equation and the calibrated Zhang model were used to simulate the effects of precipitation and vegetation on water yield. The simulated results showed that the effect of precipitation on water yield was linear in mountainous area of Haihe watershed, and a 1 mm change (increase or decrease) in precipitation will cause a 0.51 mm change in water yield; under the mean annual precipitation of 534 mm, the effects of decreasing water yield by per unit cover ratio for forest, grassland, and farmland were 1.26, 0.47, and 0.69 mm, respectively. The decreased water yields for forest, grassland, and farmland were associated with aridity indexes by negative power functions, and indicate that the effect of vegetation on water yield was smaller in drier areas. For three vegetation types the effects of vegetation on water yield were similar for crops and grass, and were much larger for forest.
The whole process of clamping offshore well double metal composite pipe was established, Reviewing the problems that in the oil and gas wells the double metal composite pipes frequently get plastic damage or even fracture failure when the power slips hold fast to the double metal composite pipe, the effect Eq. of contact area to tooth plate and double metal composite pipe was deduced, and based on the elastoplastic contact analysis theory, the theoretical Eq. was verified. For the double metal composite pipe stress, displacement and stress of drill tooth plate, influence of slip teeth plate on the double metal composite pipe damage was analyzed, The plastic damage law of the double metal composite pipe was obtained with the influence factor of the contact surface and the influence factor of the tooth crown width. the analysis showed that, The double metal composite pipe can be clamped and the contact area value of the tooth plate with the minimum damage are fixed. Several sets of teeth were produced, and then used to carry out experiments, indoor and field experiments have fully proved the accuracy of the result, The research work provides a better theoretical basis for optimal design of slip tooth plate
To study the response of 20S proteasome in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) roots to salt stress, the root tips from wheat seedlings treated with 200 mM NaCl for different times were used for studying its carbonyl level, caseinolytic activity, protein abundance and other biochemical characteristics. The contents of carbonylated and ubiquitinated proteins (Ub-P) were also investigated. During this stressed process, both the productive rate of O₂⁻ and the content of H₂O₂ gradually increased, with the concomitant increase in carbonyl level of total soluble proteins and 20S proteasome, together with the gradual increase in the activities of the total and 20S proteasome in salt-treated root tips. However, the amounts of 20S proteasome decreased particularly during this process. Moreover, metal-catalyzed oxidation of proteins from control plants in vitro validated that the oxidative modification also could increase the activity of 20S proteasome, but decrease its abundance. In addition, the amounts of Ub-P with molecular weights above 35 kDa remained similar to the control plants, but that below 35 kDa decreased significantly in treated root tips. The changes in the proteasome activity and amount argue in favor of the active involvement of this proteolytic system in salt-stressed plants.
A theoretical model of acoustic field for a parametric focusing source on concave spherical surface is proposed. In this model, the source boundary conditions of the Spheroidal Beam Equation (SBE) for difference frequency wave excitation were studied. Propagation curves and beam patterns for difference frequency component of the acoustic field are compared with those obtained for Khokhlov-Zabolotskaya-Kuznetsov (KZK) model. The results demonstrate that the focused parametric model of SBE is good valid for a large aperture angle in the strongly focused acoustic field. It is also investigated that high directivity and good focal ability with the decreasing of downshift ratio and the increasing of half-aperture angle for the focused parametric model of SBE
So far, azide has been consistently reported to act as an inhibitor of metal enzymes, especially copper proteins. The present work shows that azide can also act as an activator of polyphenol oxidase II (PPO II) from tobacco leaves. From the square-wave voltammetry of native PPO II, peroxide-PPO II complex and azide-PPO II complex, the reduction of nitro blue tetrazolium by the enzymes and activation of PPO II by peroxide it follows that the binding of azide to PPO II induces the formation of CuO2 2-Cu in the active site of PPO II from CuO2 -Cu in native PPO II. The reason for azide acting as an activator can be attributed to azide complexing with PPO II, thus inducing the formation of CuO2 2-Cu, which is the active site of the peroxide-PPO II complex in which peroxide plays the role of activator.
