Równoczesne zastosowanie w mieszance obu dodatków zwiększyło koncentrację lotnych kwasów tłuszczowych (118 vs. 107 μmol·g⁻¹; p<0,05) i obniżyło zawartość amoniaku (0,61 vs. 0,69 mg·g⁻¹; p<0,05) w treści jelit ślepych.

The goal of the study performed on 400 one-day old broiler chickens was to evaluate the effect of simultaneous addition of mannanoligosaccharides and NSP-degrading enzymes to diets on growth performance and caecal fermentation processes. The experimental diet was supplemented with a dietary combination of two additives: 50 mg·kg⁻¹ of the enzymatic preparation RovabioTMExcel AP(1400 U endo-1,4 β-xylanase and 2000 U endo-1,3(4) β-glucanase, per g of preparation) as well as 2 and 1 g·kg⁻¹ of the preparation AgrimosⓇ (as a source of MOS) in the feeding periods 1–21 and 22–35 days, respectively. The final body weight of broilers improved by 4%, from 1917 g to 1999 g in the control and experimental groups, respectively. Simultaneous addition of both preparations caused significantly higher total SCFA (118 vs. 107 μmol·g⁻¹; p<0.05) and lower ammonia (0.61 vs. 0.69 mg·g⁻¹; p<0.05) concentrations in the caecal digesta.
