W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe kierunki badań nad wykorzystaniem konwersji fotowoltaicznej i analizę danych meteorologicznych dotyczących nasłonecznienia. Oszacowano ilość energii elektrycznej, którą może wyprodukować moduł fotowoltaiczny oraz przedstawiono przykładowe zastosowania rolnicze.
The diversity of solute flow was determined according to 1981-2000 data, taking into account environmental factors. The water assessment was based on analysis results from 19 rivers in the area between the Wisła and Bug rivers (Fig. 1). Based on average annual values of six parameters (general mineralisation in the form of dry residue, concentrations of dissolved oxygen and of chloride, phosphate and ammonia nitrogen ions as well as the amount of organie compounds - BOD₅), pollution indices were determined, enabling the classification of the river basins analysed according to a five-degree pollution scale (the first degree being "clean" rivers and the fifth degree denoting "critically polluted" rivers). A comparison of study results from the 1991-2000 period to the corresponding data from the 1981-1990 period indicates a trend towards the improvement of water purity in rivers. The results achieved show that in most areas of the Lublin Region rivers drain basins that exhibit high environmental values ("clean" and "slightly polluted" basins) and low levels of the environmental burden caused by economic activity. Solute flow from those basins depends on geological and hydrological conditions (Fig, 2, Fig. 3). Approximately 80-85% of the solute flow from those basins account for the chemical denudation of the lithosphere.
Some attempts were undertaken to determine the effect of economical factors on the degree of milk production and also to determine the social structure of milk producers. There was established the number of individual milk producers and the amount of milk supply of different quality. It was found that a total number of individual milk producers in 1987—1989 was similar. Since 1990 a significant decrease of the amount of milk supply and the number of milk producers was noted. In 1991 the number of individual milk producers decreased by 13 per cent and the amount of supplied milk by 16 per cent comparing with 1989. Social structure of milk producers in the above period was very unsatisfactory. Among milk producers dominated those (38 per cent) that supplied from 2000 to 5000 1 of milk a year. The second group (25.4 per cent) constituted the producers supplying milk from 5000 to 10 000 l a year. A relatively large group of milk producers (27.9 per cent) delivered less than 2000 l of milk a year.
From 1976 to 2000, were examined 2828 children for the presence of gastrointestinal parasites. Investigations were made by means of a standard coprological methods, Graham's method and immunoenzymatic method (Prospect Giardia) for the presence of coproantigen of Giardia. The following parasites were detected in 1299 children: Giardia lamblia 1,3%, Ascaris lumbricoides 3,0%, Trichuris trichiura 7,8%, Enterobius vermicularis 40.5%. The parasites were found most frequently in children from a home for mentally handicapped. The number of infected among children inhabiting country was higher than among those from the towns. There was no significant difference between boys and girls.
