Soybean seeds, Progres cv., were dried in a floor drier of authors’ own design. Three procedures of drying were used: (a) with unheated ambient air flow, (b) with unheated/heated by 9°C air flow, (c) with heated by 9°C air flow. No significant differences were found in macro and microdamages nor in viability and germination capacity among the seeds dried in different ways, before and after drying. Thus, the drying at air temperature exceeding ambient temperature by as much as 9°C may be recommended for saybean seeds provided as sowing material.
