During the research, 561 individuals represented by 35 species of minute brown scavenger beetles (Coleoptera: Latridiidae) were recorded in the area of Kozienicka Forest and the vicinities of Radom (Central Poland). Both in the area of the Kozienice Forest, as well as in the administrative borders of the city of Radom, 25 species of Latridiidae were found in total. The number of species shared in both areas was 15. Of all Latridiidae identified, 15 species were not previously reported from the Mazowiecka Lowland, and 13 from the Małopolska Upland. The most rare species in Poland were: Corticaria alleni, Corticarina lambiana, Dienerella clathrata, Melanophthalma maura , M. rispini and M. suturalis.
The paper presents new faunistic data of 27 beetle species belonging to the Ptinidae family. Among presented species, 19 of them belong to deathwatch beetles and 8 of them to spider beetles. One species, Xyletinus pseudoblongulus GOTTW., is new to the Polish fauna.
New faunistic data on the occurrence of 49 sap beetles species (Coleoptera: Kateretidae, Nitidulidae) in the environs of Radom (E Poland) are presented. Seven species from the Mazowiecka Lowland and eight species from the Małopolska Upland have been recorded for the first time.
New faunistic data on the occurrence of 34 Leiodidae species in the environs of Radom (E Poland) is presented. The occurrence of Agathidium nudum in Poland is confirmed with new data. Several other rarely encountered species are reported, including Catops nigriclavis, Choleva sturmii, Agathidium mandibulare, Liodopria serricornis, Leiodes bicolor, L. oblonga, L. rubiginosa, and Platypsyllus castoris. Difficulties with identification of Central European Leiodidae are briefly discussed. To facilitate identification of Ptomaphagus species known from Poland, figures of aedeagi and spermathecae are provided.
