Results of testing limited airflow beater-blower at horizontal and vertical transportation of chopped maize are presented. During transportation of chopped maize on the distance 26-38 m and height 16-20 m the power requirement and energy consumption depended mostly on the output (see fig. 2 and 3). Rising the output from 40 to 100 t/h at horizontal transportation in creased power requirement from 15 to 28 kW at specific energy consumption reduced from 0,4 to 0,23 kWh/t. At vertical transportation the output rise from 20 to 80 t/h lowered specific energy consumption from 0,68 to 0,35 kWh/t.
