The digger wasp Trypoxylon fronticorne GUSSAKOVSKIJ, 1936 (Hymenoptera: Sphecidae) is recorded for the first time from Poland. The specimens were collected in Kampinos National Park in Central Poland with the use of Moericke traps. Currently 8 species representing the genus Trypoxylon LATREILLE, 1802 are known from Poland. The key for the determination is provided.
The paper gives records of Pseudomalus triangulifer (Abeille de Perrin, 1877), the new species of ruby-tailed wasp from Poland (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae). The species was not separated by many authors from P. auratus (Linnaeus, 1758) until recently. The characters for distinguishing of the two species are given, followed by the verified data of distribution in Poland. P. triangulifer (Abeille) seems to be widespread but rare in Poland.
The paper presents information about species from the group Scolioidea (Hymenoptera: Vespoidea) known from the western part of Kampinos National Park in Central Poland. Seven species are recorded for the first time from the Park. Among them Scolia sexmaculata (MÜLLER, 1766) is new to Mazovian Lowland. The specimens were collected with the use of Moericke traps during the years 2000-2004. Currently 11 species from the Scolioidea are known from Kampinos National Park.
The paper provides additional information concerning the spider hunting wasps (Hymenoptera: Pompilidae) occurring in the Kampinos National Park (Central Poland). Eight species are added to the list of the species known from the Park, and six are recorded from the Mazovian Lowland for the first time. The specimens were collected during 2004-2006.
The paper gives records of Chrysis illigeri Wesmael, 1839, the species of rubytailed wasp (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae) new from Poland. The species was not separated by many authors from Ch. bicolor Lepeletier, 1806, until recently. The characteristics for distinguishing of the two species are given, followed by the verified data of distribution in Poland. Both species seem to be widely distributed and quite common in Poland.
The paper presents data on the actual distribution of two species of paper wasps species, Polistes gallicus and P. dominulus in Poland. A key to the Polish species of the genus Polistes is included.
The first record of Nitela fallax from Poland is presented. One specimen of the species was captured on 2 VII 1998 in Kampinoski National Park (central Poland). It is the third species of the genus recorded from Poland. Key to the European species of the genus Nitela is included.
The paper provides information concerning the spider hunter wasps (Hymenoptera: Pompilidae) occurring in the Kampinos National Park (Central Poland). Altogether 34 species are listed, and 33 of them were collected as a result of the research carried out in 2000-2004. Eight species are recorded for the first time from the Mazovian Lowland, and 15 are new to the Park.
The paper presents information about chrysidid wasps known from the Kampinos National Park in Central Poland (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae). The specimens were collected with the use of Moericke traps during the years 2000-2006. The presence of 37 species was confirmed. Eighteen species are recorded for the first time from the Park. Among them 13 are new to the Mazovian Lowland: Chrysis angustula SCHENCK, Ch. clarinicollis Lins., Ch. corusca Valkeila, Ch. gracillima (FÖRST.), Ch. illigeri Wesm., Ch. impressa SCHENCK, Ch. iris Christ, Ch. mediata Lins., Ch. pseudobrevitarsis Lins., Ch. schencki Lins., Ch. solida Haupt, Hedychrum aureicolle niemelaei Lins., and Pseudomalus triangulifer (Ab.). Currently 46 species of the Chrysididae are known from the Kampinos National Park.
The paper presents information about wasps known from the Kampinos National Park in Central Poland (Hymenoptera: Vespidae). The specimens were collected with the use of Moericke traps during the years 2000-2006. The presence of 27 species was confirmed. Six species are recorded for the first time from the Park. Eight species recorded earlier were not confirmed during present survey. Currently 35 species of the Vespidae are known from the Kampinos National Park (56% of the Polish fauna).
