The aim of this paper was to present the essence of the relocation process of companies with particular consideration of intra-national migration. The author arranged definitions and presented factors of the relocation of companies. The paper ends with case studies of the companies that entirely or partly relocated their business activity in the country. The information on migration was obtained on the basis of the conducted survey among randomly selected enterprises. Further information was collected from web pages of surveyed entities and press releases. As a result of the conducted analysis the conclusions were drawn towards the surveyed enterprises. It was observed that domestic relocation concerns both small and large enterprises dealing with manufacturing, providing services and trading. Internal migration may be conducted entirely or partly. Companies may transfer their seats or branches. The main reason for a change of localization is insufficient supply of manufacturing area. The conducted research reflect only fragment of the process of domestic relocation in order to draw the overall conclusions in this respect is indispensable to make extension at the bigger scale of enterprises.

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of relocation from a tie-stall barn to the facility with free-stall housing on adaptation of cows measured by behaviours latency and lenghts of the first episodes. Cows were observed at 10-min intervals for 48 hours after relocation on the first and second days. Second parity cows and non-pregnant cows lied down sooner than those in the first lactation and pregnant cows (532.2±274.6 min vs. 678.3±278.9 min; 588.5±237.0 min vs. 603.8±326.1 min). Primiparous and pregnant cows had shorter lying episodes following the relocation (25.0±12.9 min. vs. 51.4±31.8 min, P<0.001; 38.3±24.8 min vs. 46.0±35.8 min). Latencies for total lying (first time lying down regardless of which side cow lays) and lying on the left side were progressively shorter from the first milking session to the fourth milking session. Cows in second lactation and non-pregnant cows began ruminating sooner than cows in first lactation after the first and fourth milking sessions. The results of this study suggest that relocation may alter behavioural measures.However, behaviour after milking sessions observation indicate that older and non-pregnant cows are more able to adapt quickly to environmental change.

Konserwacja zabytków architektury posługuje się różnymi metodami w zależności od specyfiki obiektu i zakresu procesu konserwacji. Jedną z agresywnych metod konserwacji, z której korzysta się w przypadku ratowania zabytku przed zalaniem (stosowaną zwłaszcza przy budowie zapór wodnych), jest metoda relokacji. W przypadku relokacji świątyń Abu Simbel, przenoszonych w związku z budową nowej tamy w Assuanie, należało przed przystąpieniem do relokacji stworzyć sztuczny krajobraz – górę, w której wnętrze mogły zostać wprowadzone obie świątynie. A zatem oprócz zagadnień hydrotechnicznych związanych z budową tamy oraz problemów konserwatorskich występujących w procesie relokacji świątyń, mamy także przykład kreacji krajobrazowej wykonanej dla potrzeb konserwacji.
