Tough the trade enterprises operating in the Polish market for consumer goods start to treat logistic service of their activities as a tool for competitive struggle, nevertheless, the hitherto solutions in this area have been lagging as compared with foreign ones. In this article, the author discusses the results of empirical studies on the three groups of issues. The first relates to forms of logistic service and reasons for application thereof at trade enterprises. The second is quality of logistic infrastructure of domestic and foreign traders, and its impact on the standard of client (customer) servicing. The third is a scope of cooperation of trade enterprises with logistic service providers.

The article shows possibilities and benefits caused by using logistics conception in tourist enterprises. The need of using logistics management is confirm by dynamic development of tourist services sector on the whole world. The author marks that transport as a main logistics service plays huge role in realization of its basics functions. It concerns to running tourist business as well as to the connections with environment. It can be seen on operation functions level which allow to transform enterprises resources into services. It can also be seen in promoting of marketing functions when the tourist offer reach costumers and in promoting sale process where the particular attention is kept on costumer service. The author accents that logistic management in tourist enterprises allows to achieve settled level of services availing specified and rational costs.
In his article, the author focuses on discussion of the actions carried out by domestic firms in the sector for TFL services, aimed at an increase of their competitiveness. Therefore, there are discussed the ways of raising quality of services those firms have in their offer. The author emphasises the need for search by domestic small and medium companies from the TFL service sector for their place in market niches. He also pays attention to the need to convert some large logistic enterprises into operators providing a complex offer of services and to undertake activities in the B2B e-commerce.
