The Saint Ann amphitheatre, located in an disused quarry, with seats for 120,000 spectators was first constructed by the Germans before the Second World War. In recent years, the amphitheatre has been undergoing systematic devastation. The author appeals for taking action to maintain the amphitheatre in a proper state. He notes that the amphitheatre may be still prevented from total destruction at relatively low costs and be restored to past glory.
