Squamapion samarense (FAUST) is recorded from Poland (Brylińce, ca. 12 km SW of Przemyśl) for the first time. New localities of Omphalapion buddebergi (BEDEL), Ischnopterapion modestrum (KIRBY), Protapion gracilipes (DIETRICH), the nomenclature of Omphalapion hookerorum (KIRBY) and Ceratapion basicorne (ILLIGER), as well as diagnostic characteristics of C. carduorum (KIRBY) and C. gibbirostre (GYLLENHAL) are discussed.
