A two-year study of two sites of oak-hornbeam forest on Mt. Biała Góra in the Cracow- Wieluń Uplands in southern Poland yielded a total of 43 leaf beetle species, with 42 species registered from the herb layer and 15, from the shrub layer. Each community has been described in terms of species composition, abundance, the structure of dominance and zoogeography. The results have been compared relevant data from bibliography concerning other regions of Poland.
