The examinations of the effect of feed supplements, Acetona and Melwit, and ergotropics, Avotan and Avatec, in feeding dairy cows, were carried out on low-land black-and- white cows, in various lactation periods and at low and high nutrition levels. When compared to the control sample, it was found out that at a high nutrition level, Melwit and Acetona increased milk yield by 11.3% and 3.6% respectively, and at a low nutrition level, by 9.9% and 10.7% respectively. Melwit and Awoparcyna, along with a high nutrition level in cows, produced a higher mild yield than a low nutrition level. Awoparcyna, irrespective of nutrition level and lactation period, increased fat amount in milk from 0.03% to 0.32%. The supplement of Melwit, Awoparcyna and Lasalocid improved the indices of protein and energy balance in blood of cows.
