This paper concerns environmental traffic road control in street canyons. It based on recent hardware advances and 1VHS technologies. In particular, traffic video-detectors for efficient localisation and recognition of 3-D vehicles in traffic scene are described. A two-level traffic control idea for street canyon is proposed and possible extensions for network problems are addressed. The advanced re- al-time control model of the street canyon is developed, making allowance for heterogeneity of canyon walls as well as various 3-D structure types of detected vehicles.
