The result of field trials dealing with the research of the content of mobile nitrogen forms in 0-20 and 20-40 cm soil layers are given according to the stages of long-fibred flax vegetation. It was stated that ammonium sulphate with reduced rate of dissolving was of advantage in comparison to the standard form in provision of flax plants with nitrogen during the most responsible development stages and in ecological aspect as well.
