W pracy przedstawiono efekty separacji pneumatycznej suszu z żyta na zielonkę w pionowy strumieniu powietrza. Nastąpiły przyrosty zawartości procentowej białka ogólnego i ubytki włókna surowego. Żyto dość łatwo poddaje się procesowi separacji pneumatycznej.
Dried in a drum drir, chopped meadow grass was pneumatically separated in vertical air stream of flow velocities rangin from 0.5 to 2.5 m/s. The experiments aimed to recognize the possibilities of improving in such a way the nutritive quality of artificially dried grass through the reduction of crude fibre content and increasing the content of crude protein. The best results of pneumatic separation were obtained at air flow velocity 0.5 m/s: separation of 9.9% dried material by weight at increased by 1.7% content of crude protein and crude fibre content reduced by 5.8%. Dried meadow grass in form of chaff proved to be the material difficult to pneumatic separation.
The review presents specific interactions that occur in complexes of Cu(ll) ions with peptides composed only of amino acids with nonco-ordinating side chains. Three classes of such peptides are discussed. The first type (NSFRY analogues) is characterised by the presence of a specific combination of bulky and aromatic residues, leading to a formation of multiple weak interactions around Cu(II) that result in an extremely high stability of complexes. The second class is composed of complexes of vasopressins and oxytocins, achieving superstability through a pre-conformation in the peptide molecule. The third group are oligopeptides containing one or two proline residues. These peptides form exotic macrochelate loops with Cu(ll) in a result of the break-point effect of Pro residues. Particular emphasis in the review was given to stability constants of complexes, compared to oligoglycine or oligoalanine peptides.
