The research work has been carried out to estimate the low level cobalt application enhance antioxidant enzyme activities of cluster bean plants. The experiments were conducted in earthen pots containing 3 kg of air dried soil. The inner surface of pots was lined with polythene sheet. Cluster bean plants were raised in soil amended with different concentration of cobalt (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 mg/kg). The antioxidant enzyme activities were analysed at 30, 60, and 90 days aftersowing (DAS). There found a significant enhance antioxidant enzyme activities at 50 mg/kg cobalt application in the soil in all the sampling days when compared to control. Further increase in the cobalt level (100-250 mg/kg) in the soil decreased antioxidant enzyme activities of cluster bean plants in all the sampling days.
The present investigation has been carried out to find the ethno medicinal value of plants in Thanjuvur District of Tamil Nadu, India. This study of ethno medicinal value of plants and cure the various disease of around the Thanjuvur District. These plants are used in ethnomedicine to cure various diseases in Tamil Nadu, and in the study, were collected from Kalyanacholapuram, Tamil Nadu, India, and were washed and dried under shade conditions. The dried plant materials were then ground, and kept under suitable storage conditions until the time of extraction. The aim of the research was to evaluate that the effect of symbiotic fermented cherry juice containing fructo oligosaccharide to enhance the growth and activity of probiotic strains include Lactobacillus acidophilus was tested for their antibiotic susceptibility, and tolerance to bile. Antifungal activity of symbiotic cherry juice could differ in their antagonistic activity against fungal disease which could be due to the metabolite secreted by the lactic acid bacteriocin specially type of organic acids and added fructo oligo saccharide as a probiotic and for food preservation synbiotic cherry juice was identified and their major compounds was detected using gas chromatographymass spectrum (gc-ms).
