The composition and functional properties of SCP obtained from mixed cultures Candida Upolytica and Candida tropicatis grown on n-paraffin medium was compared with samples obtained form different firms in the United States and Japan. It was found that SCP from mixed cultures did not differ significantly in its chemical composition from other samples, however, its functional characteristics did not make it possible to apply them in the food industry. SCP from mixed cultures grown on n-paraffin medium can be used as fodder.
