In bull’s spermatozoons the presence of sphingosine glycolipids was verified. The neutral glycosphingolipids do not surpase 1.5 µg/10⁸ cells, gangliosides 0.2 µg/10⁸ cells. Between them quantitatively prevailed glycosylceramide (Glc-Cer) and trihexosylceramide. No one of studies compounds contained hexosamines. The bulk of acid glycosphongolipids showed the chromatographic motility typical for gangliosides GM3 (Sial-Gal-Glc-Cer). The content of glycosphingolipids of bulls spermatozoons is inconsiderable. Their role is still obscure. There is a need for further research aimed at the elucidation of their biological function.
