Energy inputs in particular technological operations as well as specific energy consumption in milk and beef production (per 1 kg and 1 head) were investigated on 52 individual dairy farms. Inputs of cumulated energy were determined from the total of 5 streams: direct energy carriers, human labour, materials and raw materials, machines and buildings. Energy inputs were calculated and analysed separately for each technological operation, such as feeding, milking and milk cooling, manure disposal and other operations. In defined percentage structure of the inputs feeding was the highest proportion (64,75 %).
