Physical activity has become very important part of many woman’s and man’s lives. Doing exercises and being fit is now very popular. It is related with larger awareness concerning health advantages which brings activity. Also pregnant women are coaxed to be active during the pregnancy if there are no contraindications from medical side. Considering physiologic interactions it is important to adjust activity and exercises to pregnant women so it could be safe for mother and baby and bring all of advantages. The aim of this study was to assemble information about kinds of physical activities which could be done by pregnant woman. There were reviewed different articles polish and foreign and based of them there were selected exercises which should be recommended to pregnant woman and those which should be forbidden. It was showed what kind of advantages brings activity to mother and baby which are shorten labor, well conditioned woman after pregnancy, good condition of newborn. Woman should be encouraged to these kinds of physical activity.
