Le microplancton de l'âge ordovicien moyen provient du sondage de Strabla situé dans la dépression de Podlasie, dans la région occidentale de la Plate-forme orientale-européenne. Ce sont les Acritarches parmi lesquels on a décrit 3 nouveaux genres: Duplicisphaeridium n. gen., Palaiosphaeridium n. gen. et Strablosphaeridium n. gen. et 5 nouvelles espèces Baltisphaeridium pseudocalicispinum sp. n., B. vieslavi sp. n., Goniosphaeridium goerani sp. n., Palaiosphaeridium francinae n. gen. sp. n. Strablosphaeridium biparietalis n. gen. sp. n. et une nouvelle combinaison: Duplicisphaeridium spinigerum (Górka) n. comb. On a présenté la répartition géographique et stratigraphique des espèces étudiées et leur corrélation avec le domaine baltique.

Opracowano mikroplankton z środkowego ordowiku wiercenia Strabla usytuowanego nad Narwią, 15 km na półn. zach. od Bielska Podlaskiego w depresji podlaskiej platformy wschodnio-europejskiej. W biotopie tym stwierdzono obecność 25 gatunków Acritarcha, wsród których 20 jest wspólnych dla obszaru bałtyckiego. Wskazywałoby to na połączenie basenu sedymentacyjnego tego regionu w środkowym ordowiku. Wyróżniono trzy nowe rodzaje: Duplicisphaeridium gen.n. Palaiosphaeridium gen.n., i Strablosphaeridium gen.n. oraz pięć nowych gatunkow: Baltisphaeridium pseudocalicispinae sp.n., B. vieslavi sp.n., Coniosphaeridium georani sp.n., Palaiosphaeridium francinae gen.n., sp.n. Strablosphaeridium biparietalis gen.n., sp.n. i 1 nową kombinację Duplicisphaeridium spinigerum (Górka). Ponadto przedstawiono rozprzestrzenienie geograficzne i stratygraficzne studiowanych gatunków oraz korelacje stratygraficzne z obszarem bałtyckim.
